20th Annual Komen Lowcountry Race for the Cure

There’s still time to sign up to run or walk in this annual event that raises money and awareness for breast cancer treatment, screening and research. Thousands of people participate each year, turning Daniel Island into a virtual sea of pink. It’s an emotional and energizing event that shouldn’t be missed. Southern Ground Music & Food Festival

For the third year in a row, the Zac Brown Band brings this all-star festival of Southern music and food to Daniel Island’s Blackbaud Stadium. It’s a two-day event featuring a wide range of musical acts including nightly performances by Zac Brown Band, special guest sit-in performances by Kenny Rogers and Claire Bowen, and full sets by Willie Nelson & Family, Natalie Maines, Band of Horses, Fitz & The Tantrums, The Head and the Heart, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, Dawes, Kacey Musgraves, Southern Ground Artists and more! Final Weekend Festivities – 2013 Coastal Living Showhouse

This is your final chance to see this spectacular showcase of coastal construction and design, located in Daniel Island’s Smythe Park neighborhood overlooking the Wando River. The design team will be on hand on Saturday to conduct special tours and answer questions about coastal construction.
