Lowcountry Explorers – Charleston’s Alleys and Hidden Spaces
April 11 @ 9:30 am - 1:00 pm
Come join the Lowcountry Explorers for a fantastic walking tour to explore some of Charleston’s most enchanting alleys and hidden spaces. Charleston’s alleys occupy spaces that blur the time between public and private areas and offer remarkable insight into the history of the Holy City. These quaint passages, picturesque cobblestones, and brick and stone pathways offer an opportunity to step back in time and appreciate more fully Charleston’s charms on an intimate and inviting scale.
This will be a two-hour tour of the Charleston downtown area. Register HERE.
After the tour lunch will be at Sean Brock’s Minero Mexican restaurant at 153 East Bay Street. Minero is on the second floor and is generally accessed by a stairway but there is an elevator next to the stairway. Everything is included in lunch including tip, the only exclusions are alcoholic beverages which are available at an additional cost.
