Designed especially for the Daniel Island Explorers, this trip brings you directly to one of the most secluded and pristine beaches in the world for shelling, swimming, birding, and a chance to reconnect with nature.
Seven miles of Bulls Island’s beach are part of the longest stretch of undeveloped coastline on the east coast. The trip begins with a 50-minute naturalist-led boat tour through the salt marsh estuary. After being dropped off on the north end of Bulls Island, explorers will be accompanied by a guide and driven to “Boneyard Beach”, one of nature’s most magnificent works of art in the Lowcountry, about a mile and a half away.
Please note: The cost of the trip includes a boxed lunch, guides and gratuities.
The boat will leave the Garris Public Boat Landing in Awendaw at 10:15 am sharp. Please plan on arriving at the Landing by 9:45 as this trip is tide dependent. It is about a 35 minute drive to the Landing from Daniel Island.
Registration for this trip will close May 28th at 11:59 PM.
