Event Title: Rice and the Role it played in Colonial & Antebellum South Carolina

Join the Daniel Island Historical Society for their first meeting of 2019. College of Charleston adjunct history professor, Hayden Smith will talk about the key role rice and rice cultivation played in developing early Charleston and the Lowcountry history.
