The Pumpkin Walk is an annual family event on Daniel Island where Smythe Park is lined with the stunning carved masterpieces of the Island’s residents. Residents are requested to bring carved pumpkins with an LED tea light to Smythe the morning of the Walk. Event Volunteers will line the paths and light the pumpkins, creating a beautiful casual walk to kick off the fall season!
As this is a community-led event, your family’s participation is needed! You and your family are being asked to bring your best carved pumpkins to Smythe Park on OCT. 27th. Pumpkins should be delivered to our volunteers, carved and containing an LED style tea light. Don’t worry! You’ll get the chance to retrieve your pumpkins for your own porch after the event. The organizers have invited entertainment, and plenty of food for purchase, but encourage you to bring chairs and beverages to enjoy with neighbors in the park following your walk. Chairs may be set up the morning of the event. The Daniel Island POA will also provide fire pits and s’mores for guests to enjoy!
