Who says playing in the dirt is just for kids?
Lunchbox Learning is a new quarterly program where the Daniel Island POA brings in a speaker to talk about a specific topic. Registrants will have the option to partake in a catered lunch or a BYOBL (Bring your own bagged lunch).
Our main topic for April’s program is about getting back to the basics of gardening and will be presented by our featured speaker, Linda Geronilla, Ph.D. Dr. Geronilla is a Master Gardener, Master Naturalist and Permaculture practitioner specializing in soil sciences and the soil food web. She focuses on Natural Solutions for Your Health, Home and Garden. We will also be joined by a second speaker, Tom Knaust, an urban beekeeping expert who will discuss the best practices of Urban Beekeeping.
Please join us for our Inaugural Lunchbox Learning event held at the Wharf 7 Community Room. A catered lunch will be brought in from Verde in Mount Pleasant (specializing in salads and wraps). Register online via the link below to secure your spot as space for this program is limited.
