For two weeks beginning on June 25th, the Exchange Club of Daniel Island will proudly host their 2nd Annual Daniel Island Field of Honor® display of U.S. flags. The Stars and Stripes will stand posted in a memorable panorama of red, white and blue on the grassy lawn of River Landing Drive. 500 full sized flags will fly on seven and a half foot flagpoles to honor military, veterans, first responders and other personal and home town heroes.
Support the Daniel Island Field of Honor® by sponsoring a flag HERE for $25 to honor individuals who through their service and sacrifice have become heroes in our lives or visit our table onsite. The onsite schedule is as follows:

Thursday, June 29th: 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM – This is also Blood Donor Day! The blood donation will run 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM Please call 1-800-733-2767 or visit www.redcrossblood.org and click FIND DRIVE to schedule an appointment.

*Flag sponsors may pick-up their sponsored flags on July 8th to keep and display as a memento of this year’s event or the flags may be donated back to the Exchange Club to be displayed at next year’s event.
Proceeds will benefit three local charities. The programs of One80 Place help prevent homelessness one person at time, one family at a time. One80 Place works with men, women, families and Veterans to ensure they have a chance to begin again. The Lowcountry Food Bank serves 10 coastal counties of South Carolina in the fight against hunger and aims to distribute more than 24 million pounds of food each year. The Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center’s mission is to prevent abuse, protect children and heal families.

Everyone is invited to visit this Field of Honor® display and walk amidst the posted flags. Those who have experienced a Field of Honor® display know to expect an inspiring and memorable panorama of red, white and blue. Those who are first time visitors will find that the display must be experienced to be fully appreciated. There is no charge to visit the visit the Field of Honor® display.
