Yard Debris Placement and Pickup

We would like to remind all homeowners that it is a violation of the Daniel Island CC&R’s to place any trash or yard debris items on developer/homeowner undeveloped lots, your neighbor’s property or curb, or any of the POA common areas. The City of Charleston will not pick up any landscape debris left on undeveloped or POA common area spaces. Please remind your landscape maintenance companies that this is a violation. Please place your yard debris curbside in front of your property.

In addition to placement of debris, we would like to remind residents that it is a violation of the Daniel Island CC&R’s to place any trash or yard debris items on the curb more than 24 hours prior to Monday pick up. Any yard work being done by yourself or a landscaper, must be hauled off or screened from view until Monday’s pick up.

If you see anyone placing debris on these areas, please contact the POA office immediately at 843-971-9200 and we will followup on the complaint.
