Infrastructure Renovations

Exciting times for our community! In following the recommendation of our reserve studies for our associations, we will begin multiple renovations to infrastructure in preparation for the Spring and Summer season. Several trails, asphalt and concrete, will be renovated along Blakeway, Pierce, Great Oak Park, and Codner’s Ferry Park. Seal coating and re-striping of the parking lots at Pierce Park Pool will also begin in the next week, as well as, seal coating Beresford Creek Boat Landing parking lot. We completed the installation of new heating/cooling units for Pierce Park pool, which is open year round for 2018. Scott Park Pool will also receive new heating/cooling units in preparation for its opening in the spring. The schedule is as follows: (Please note: the schedule is weather permitting)

  • Tuesday Feb 6:  Demo concrete at 2025 Pierce Street and Fairchild Street
  • Wednesday Feb 7:  Frame and pour Pierce Street and Fairchild Street, excavate Saucy Jack
  • Thursday Feb. 8:  Excavate and frame Saucy Jack
  • Friday Feb. 9:  Frame Saucy Jack, start on Great Oak Park grading
  • Monday Feb. 12:  Frame and pour Great Oak Park, excavate 210 Beresford Creek Street
  • Tuesday Feb 13:  Frame and pour 210 Beresford Creek Street
  • Wednesday Feb 14:  Seal coat Beresford Creek Boat Landing and Pierce Pool Parking Lots
  • Thursday Feb 15:  Re-Striping Pierce Pool Parking Lots
